Hermione's Diary--The hogwarts express
(Author's Note: Sorry for not writing in a while. Anyway here's Hermione's first diary entry.)
Dear Diary,
I still can't believe I'm a witch! As I've been saying I've been reading all the books about it I can find. I'm on the train right now. Headed to Hogwarts! To be honest though not much about the train is different. They do have strange candies though, and of course the robes and stuff...
I will miss Mum and Dad, but I'll write lots. Plus, there's Christmas break.
Well, sorry about such a short entry but I should go, we're almost their!

Ginny's Diary--Not so little anymore
(Author's Note: Finally! I'm posting the first diary entry from Ginny's Diary. Please make sure to check the about the characters page if you haven't so you can get to know them better. This is before Ginny's first year, so it's Harry, Ron and Hermione's first year. Hope you enjoy it!)
Dear Diary,
Today we dropped off all of my brothers (except of course Bill and Charlie). I'm going to be ultra bored this year! I always had Ron to play with while everyone one else was in school, but know I'll be all alone.
Daddy's excited for take your daughters and sons to work day, and so am I. After all I will get more attention from my parent's.But that's not what I want or need! I get enough attention being the youngest and a girl. I'm not like most girls though. I have old dolls and I wear jumpers but I'm tougher than most girls. Plus I want to prove to mum that I'm not a baby anymore. So hopefully when i go to hogwarts next year she'll see.
Mum also says I should go out and make new friends. Tomorrow she's letting me go out on my own? I'll prove to her that I'm not so little and hopefully I will make more friends.
Oh, dinner's ready. I have to go now, I'll write again soon.
